Giant human skeletons, 15 feet and bigger, can't possibly exist due to square-cube law.

There is no way human skeletons could support the weight and still look human. This is because of the square-cube law. For example, 2x2x2 = 8. The surface area would be 2x2 or 4. Now double the height of the cube, so 4x4x4 = 64. Surface area would be 4x4 = 16.

Now compare the volume to surface area ratio. 8/4 = 2. 64/16 = 4. Meaning the larger cube has to support twice as much weight for the amount of surface area to support it. That being said humans can only be so big. The world's largest alive man is less than 9 feet tall. [0] That being said its a reasonable assumption that human skeletons could not be over 15 feet tall.

"The tallest man living is Sultan K"sen (Turkey, b.10 December 1982) who measured 251 cm (8 ft 2.8 in) in Ankara, Turkey, on 08 February 2011." [0]

Now if archaeologist found a human skeleton that was 8 feet 3 inches that would be believable. Yet, the giants some sources claim are obviously fakes, the skeleton could not support its own weight.

Yes, there are creatures larger than humans living on land, yet these creature's bone structures are significantly different.
