We should take action on climate change now because it is predicted that the climate will increase by 4-6 degrees by 2100. Right now the climate is increased by 1 degree Celsius warmer since 1880. In the past extreme heat and drought has caused thousands of deaths. For example in Chicago 1995, 795 people died in a heat wave and in Europe 2003, 30,000 people died from another heat wave. In Northwest China desertification of farming lands causes a loss of 1000 miles annually. The Amazon forests play an important role in absorbing CO2 to regulate its amount in the atmosphere. The trees in the Amazon forest had begun to die due to droughts, this will cause in more carbon being emitted to the atmosphere. The cutting down of trees will also have the same effect. Because decaying trees do not only absorb carbon, but they also emit it as they die. Carbon pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels is also another leading factor to as why the CO2 levels in the atmosphere have increased.

One of the major mistakes I see in your opening argument is the blaming of the 2003 killer heat wave on global warming. Quite the contrary the heat wave was caused by an atmospheric circulation anomaly within the jet stream. Another is the assumption that co2 is the main cause of global warming and the greenhouse gas effect. In reality however it is water vapor that contributes more to the greenhouse gasses. The world has always had periods of global cooling or global warming. Two of the most famous would be the great ice age or the medieval warming periods. Now I don't believe that they had coal plants next to castles so how would we explain that. Plus the medieval warming was actually just as hot if not more warm than now. Deforestation is a major problem but I believe that global warming is highly overestimated. And I do have one question for unrelated purposes. Did you watch Al gores Movie about global warming?

As I said you have not shown any scientific proof. Global warming is only natural but the fear has been exaggerated by some politicians with agendas of their own.

@Pokemonzr you tell me to find evidance not from a radical Christian or the Bible or even a radical conservative, not only was part of your evidence false, but it was from a radical left wing liberal. Here is some evidence:

@Josh_debate Saying that these facts are lies is a far stretch. Show me a piece of evidence that global warming does not exist. And nothing from a radical Christian or the Bible or even a radical conservative lol.

@Pokemonzr Its funny because it was found that John Crook who published the paper on how 97 percent of scientist agree was found Doctoring the 97-Percent consensus' claims. In fact there is no evidence that points to global warming. Your own information and facts are lies.

90 % of scientists thought the world thought the world was flat too. They were called experts

97% of climate scientists agree. They, unlike you, are what we call experts, meaning that the expert consensus is against you. http://www.wunderground.com...

@pokemonzr If there is nothing but cold hard facts, then give me some examples.

Nothing in science is cold hard fact or set in stone. That's why it's science not math or history. The fact of the matter is that it takes years to validate any theories with substantial proof. Most of science is up for debate such as evolution and even gravity so don't jump to conclusions

@Josh_debate All there is towards global warming is cold hard evidence. It cannot be disproven.

There is no way to argue against it. It is fact at this point. Good luck to both sides.
