Globalization has changed the World- it has literally impacted the way we live! This is because it has led to a dramatic growth in international trade (exports and imports). Hereby, more countries have access to products which before were unavailable.
Moreover, firms now have the opportunity to expand their markets beyond one country, which exponentially increases the amount of potential customers available to them. Lastly, due to globalization the World has in a way become much smaller with people from different cultures connecting to trade with each other, leading to a split in the communication barriers that existed before the move to globalization.

While a global economy or globalization has the distinct advantage of raising world productivity and incomes and bringing about an improvement in the standards of living for all people at a global level, it has the dangerous side effect of growth with inequality.

This has been evidenced in the less developed economies of India, China and Brazil where the benefits of globalization have not percolated to the lowest levels.

This has brought about a wide divide between the have-nots and the have-lots which i believe is not a good sign for a globalized economy.

Globalization or regional finances all work on the same laws of prosperity. If it is cheaper to do business in another country or state, then business will gravitate to that region. An overbearing government is the most destructive thing that a business has to deal with. That is why companies are leaving the U.S. I think every business that has the wherewithal should move out. The really unpatriotic thing going on here is an overbearing government. Putting heavy burdens on business, then calling them names when they leave.
