Goats should be considered pets
Debate Rounds (3)
My argument is that we farm them for food. “Demand for goat meat has continued to increase and that has driven the high prices,” said Katherine Harrison, a goat farmer at Harrison Farm in Canal Winchester and an area leader in goat meat production.
Here's a site to back my argument:

Reasons for voting decision: Pro's argument is that a pet is a tamed animal, a goat is a tamed animal, so a goat is a pet. Con's argument is that we farm them for food, but Con fails to show me why pets can't be farmed for food. Thus, Con's argument fails and Pro's argument is dropped by Con so Pro wins.
