God Exists! Please prove otherwise.
Beastmode1126

Con

Your asking me to prove that he doesn't exist? Why should I have to prove he doesn't why don't you prove to me that he does. First off I don't know your view or belief on what god is or how he acts so I cant make any reasons to why he doesn't exist so I believe you have some explaining to do pal! If you think god is so great and nice then how come kids are starving in Africa but who knows maybe you believe in a vengeful god how am I supposed to know? That's right I'm not! So explain to me your views on God in the next round so I can actually prove that he doesn't!

Inductive reasoning is not scientific information. It's inferencing. Not facts.

Auzzy, there ARE scientific principles which can be used to support creationism through inductive reasoning. Learn your arguments before you have them.

I am "expanding" this debate, check out my new debate someone accept it. Same debate, but I will actually debate and not forfeit.

That is simply because science has no reasoning and foundation for their beliefs on origin. They look towards the believers for proof because they are dumbfounded.

The burden of proof rests on your shoulders, auzzy. In the realm of science, one is never called upon to prove that something does not exist... rather, they are called upon to prove that something DOES exist. If you are claiming that something exists without any evidence, you need to provide some. I could just as easily claim that there exists a pink elephant living in the North Pole and, using your criteria, you would have to prove that it does not -- this is not the case. You're making the claim, therefore the onus is on you.

@Beastmode

You really have no reason to be mad about auzzypaos chosen parameters. The site tells you what the parameters are before you accept the challenge, and you still accepted it. You're as much to blame for that as s/he is (Although I do agree that those are horrible parameters).

Reasons for voting decision: Tied for agreement after because I am a creationist, but pro made no argument. he reposted this debate yesterday and did not actually respond other to say that I was the wrong type of opponent. Where are all the adults on this website?

Reasons for voting decision: Con had arguments and Pro forfeited, so the debate has to go to Con. Not sure why Pro did not define the god concept in the first round, as it meant Con could not respond to the appropriate god claim.

Reasons for voting decision: I think Auzzypao might be a bit of a troll. However, the victory goes to Con by default.

Reasons for voting decision: I'm not sure whether pro's round one argument declared any burden of proof, so I'll just assume that it's shared. No arguments were really presented on either side (although con mentioned evil in the world, it never really went anywhere in terms of a standing argument), but pro forfeited so Conduct to con.
