Debate Round No. 1

Pro

I, the instigator, will prove that Golden Freddy is a hallucination.

Arguments:

First of all, unlike Golden Freddy, every animatronic creates a reflection on the monitor in the security office. This statement implys that when Golden Freddy appears in your office, he is a hallucination because he doesn't have a reflection on the monitor.

Golden Freddy also flashes the words " IT'S ME. IT'S ME." In the game, the animatronics are stripped from forcing words or letters on your screen. Aside from it being just a video game, hallucinations in real life create visuals impossible to acheive, and with that being said, Golden Freddy is a hallucination.

On the channel, Game Theroists, He proves that Golden Freddy is a hallucination. Game Theorists can prove his assumptions with citations from the actual game. I took the reasonings from this video to prove my assumptions.

Scott Cawthon, the game developer, also claims that the game is "haunted" and that a good observer can unlock the secrets to what happened to the animatronics. This can also prove that maybe your anxiety from being in a dark place with inanimate objects coming to life can create hallucinations during the game.

I look forward to my opponents arguments and rebuttals.

Con

i thank my opponent for the debate

hold on, where is your evidence that the animatronics even have reflections on the monitor? please give out a source

"ITS ME ITS ME" flashes on the screen because it gives u a clue to the story, like u said scott cawthon purposely does. Also it is pretty scary

i wait for my opponents debate

Here is where I got my information about the reflection:
http://freddy-fazbears-pizza.wikia.com...

The animatronics (Freddy and Foxy) on the page show their reflection on the monitors. On their pages on the website, you can clearly see their reflections on the monitor.

Con

alright. i concede to the point about the reflection but u did not respond to my other points. either u ignored or ur afraid that responding wrongly as u know ur wrong will keep it in mind of the voters which will make u lose

guys it obvious i won

How does "It's Me" affect the story again? FNAF's story isn't "1 2 3/ A B C" easy to solve. it's more complicated than just that.

how did con win he gave up on the final round and refused to apply any of his remaining arguement. And provided only one peice of information to his arguement which wasnt even that good of a peice. I used to beleive he wasnt a hallucination but know because of pro i beleive he is.

Reasons for voting decision: Con conceded, losing the conduct point. No capitalization of the letters, con loses S&G point. Pro provided better proofs and arguments, where as Con failed to rebut them. Arguments to Pro. Pro also cited a source for his reflection argument, so sources to Pro. Congrats!

Reasons for voting decision: @Con-First of all, work on your grammar and spelling. Second, WHAT OTHER ARGUMENTS DID YOU HAVE? He refuted ALL of your arguments. "guys it obvious i won" Umm... No, it's not... I'm going to assume that you are either extremely oafish or uneducated... Anyways, that's all...

Reasons for voting decision: Con essentially forfeited the last round, not presenting his arguments. Both arguments were poor, however I am leaning towards pro. Pro addressed his BoP, and included his sources. Con did not address his BoP, did rebuttals, nor included his/hers sources. However, pro only implied that Freddy is a hallucination, but Con really did not give anything. Spelling and grammar goes to pro, due to con's "text" style arguments. Overall, this debate goes to pro. Good job pro

Reasons for voting decision: Pro doesn't really do a lot to prove the point, and he references arguments that he doesn't state explicitly (which I disregard - the Game Theorists had an argument, and it should be stated, not just referenced), but Con does basically nothing with his argument except ask for clarification and provide a muddled, defensive point that does nothing to prove Pro wrong. As such, he gives me no choice but to vote Pro. Also, due to the many spelling issues, I award Pro S&G. Only Pro gave citations, so that goes his way too. Some borderline conduct issues in the final round almost have me giving that to Pro as well.
