Guns do NOT kill people. People kill people. Take away guns, and you will have no more school shootings, but you will have school stabbings. Criminals will find more ways to break the law.

Guns are USED to kill people. People kill people WITH guns. If there are gun laws restricting the access to guns, those who intend to harm others will not be able to do so as easily. Knives aren't as effective as guns and won't do as much damage to students and other victims. Restricting access to guns will lower school shootings and unnecessary deaths.

A gun can't pull its own trigger. There should be a system in which you are legalized to get a gun, but no law prohibiting it. Many people do die to guns each year, so I'll give you that. But people use guns because they are handy. and people shoot people because they are vengeful or insane. Laws should be on people, not guns. what will police officers use to defend us? A baseball bat?
