Con

For my opponents first argument, which I might have misunderstood, he said that Obama's foreign policies have made Ecuador an independent country now. That has little to no bearings on how it affected America. In fact, it might have even made it temporarily worse as in the turmoil historically following independence of a country it drops production. Therefore, America will have less imports from Ecuador, which might not be good. For my argument, I will point out first that Obama's efforts have alienated our allies, and destroyed America's credibility. Britain, our close ally is now not our ally through Obama's actions. Obama said that action would be taken if chemical weaponry was used in Syria. When that happened, Obama denied his ever saying that, even though it was on film. Obama promised help to the Ukraine in case of Russian invasion. However, he again did nothing when that happened. In fact, the Syrians sent a message to the Ukraine telling them not to believe what America promised. In short, he has discredited America, and America's word is now worthless until the people remembering these events die off. His foreign policies have been some of the worst ever taken by any president.

iamanatheistandthisiswhy I said in the first round that the opponent will argue that Obama's foreign policies are benificial. Therefore, con would be for detrimental

Are you con for detrimental or beneficial?

It would be good to change the title of the debate.

Reasons for voting decision: Con negated effectively, I think. We'll never know, because Pro never responded.
