America's churches and their ministers have decided that their roles in society should be to,"....become all things to all people...." and the churches message of religion and the 10 commandments and moral principles has been steadily dismissed and assigned to the dust bins of yesterday, lost in the churches new business of ","....becom..ing all things to all people."
Corinthians 9:19-23
Today's churches have become centers for recreation, social clubs where meeting and the game of bingo is the challenge, not the challenge given by the church for people to live better lives. The modern church, instead of being centers of religious instruction have become centers where politicians are invited to deliver their messages of decisiveness among America's citizens where the churches message should still be"To love thy neighbor as thy self..." America's churches are losing their members and have became irrelevant in today's society, there are ample places of amusement available and auditoriums where politicians can deliver their speeches what America is short of is churches that still deliver the message of the church, and its only legitimate purpose and message, the message of religion.
"No one can serve two masters. ""

I accept your arguement as you have already started I will do so also, but first must make something clear you have the 'burdan of proof' whereas I do not. Therefor to the judges you must without a doubt prove that the churches teaching in America are completely irrelevant to the word of God, while I will argue that they do infact serve such a purpose.

To get a proper view of the present day church in America we must also take into consideration the metamorphosis that has taken place in other vocations and if its proper and right for the same metamorphosis to take place in America's churches.
Consider the metamorphosis that has taken place in other vocations from the mundane business of cutting hair to the change that has taken place in the modern day salon which offers more than just hair cuts to now, as a part of their operations , offer such additional niceties as tanning palars, and massages along with a sauna. Or consider todays grocery store which might have a restaurant inside as an extention of the business.
But Churches aren't established to be ran as a busines nor are the the churches motivations to be those of a business, the reason for the churches existence is to instill a religious outlook on life to their congregation and be a source of comfort to the churches members when troubles arises in their personal lives.
The modern churches of today have forgotton that they are to be that which inspires the members to live better lives and for them to be loving mothers and fathers to their children and to instruct the parents to live a life that would be an example for their children on how they should conduct themselves.
But America's churches have gone modern and high tech and Instead of delivering sermons from the heart of the churches pastor are commercial sermons taken from a book or from the internet offered by professional writer of sermons.
For example of where the modern pastor of a church might get the sermon he delivers to his flock on sunday: "... the Wall Street Journal ran a front-page story on members of the clergy who buy sermons off the Internet. The Journal listed five websites that offer sermon ideas, and even entire transcripts, for modest fees. One of these sites, amusingly titled, desperatepreacher.com, offered this comforting quote of the day from Henry David Thoreau: "Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life." Mind you advise, not to be too moral, to a pastor of America's churches, what then must the sermons that are for sale be like if these sellers of sermans advise the pastors,: "Do not be too moral....". Isn't a pastor supposed to be a moral guide and example to those who attend his church?
Why are the Churches of America becoming Irrelevant, because the churches have involved themselves less and less in the teachings of the Bible and more into becoming centers of political agendas and multiculturalism and environmental issues. The messages delivered today from the pulpits of America's churches are messages delivered from the mouths of such stellar pastors as the former reverent J. Wright and Father Michael Pfleger who's messages they delivered weren't of love and forgiveness but messages of racial division and hatred for others. The churches advertisement in front of America's churches instead of the legitimate message of the church most likely today will advise the congregation of up-coming Bingo games to be held at the church or yoga Weight Loss exercises.
America's churches could regain their past success in this country if they would heed the advice '"Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar"s, and to God the things that are God"s."
Mark 12:17

Have The Churches in America became irrelevent. was the Question I asked, perhaps the answer is churches have became irrelevent because the message resonating from the modern day churches are the secular messages that secularism delivers every day in the educational institutions, in America's media and from its Supreme Courts, That secular Message is repeated day after day,
Who are we to judge others and set standards of behavior,if you feels right in doing something, your free to do whatever you feel is proper to you. If America's churches wish to once more become relevent in people's lives as they once were America's churches have to deliver a message that conduct does matter, that how one treats others matters,The message of the Bible, not the secular message of , "If it feels right, your free to do it."
