I believe that there is one true God. This God has three parts:God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. This round is solely for hearing what you believe in, if there a God or not, is there one true God, and if so who is it.

votes will do you no good but feed your denial, argumentum ad populum

beliefs are not true, you can believe whatever you like

It has been proved that Jesus is real. The theories of Christianity have factual evidence behind them.

Jesus was either pulled of the biggest faux in history, was a lunatic that took forever to catch, or the Son of God. You choose. If he was a lunatic, then how could his disciples have pulled of this conspiracy with so many people, and get beaten and die, yet not one of them confessed that it was a lie(which it wasn't). Thanks for debating with me.

5 points to Pro (Conduct, S&G, Arguments). Reasons for voting decision: Spex kept forgetting to use periods. So he loses on grammar. He didn't even debate and kept insulting DB1calling his arguments nonsense and stories and telling that that votes will do him no good and that he was in denial. So he loses on conduct. DB1 brought out the argument that it is unlikely that Jesus was a lunatic because how could there be a cover up? Also it is unlikely that his diciples lied because they were killed without confessing and Spex didn't even respond. So DB1 wins on arguments. Spex didn't even debate.

[*Reason for removal*] (1) S&G is insufficiently explained. The voter has to do more than point to a lack of periods to establish this point allocation " it must be clear that one side's argument was difficult to understand as a result of how it was written. (2) Conduct is insufficiently explained. The voter talks about Con's dismissive attitude towards Pro's arguments, but unless the debater actively attacked someone personally (either the opponent or someone outside the debate), this may not be awarded.

I also want to address this argument about who created the world God or nothing. Nobody is saying that nothing created the world. Scientists believe that the solar system was formed by stellar formation. Basically matter attracts matter so over time it will group together creating planets and stars. In fact we see stars being created in nebula all the time.

I found that lunatic argument interesting. Just because you are seeing things doesn't mean you are a lunatic. For example one of the founders of the 7th Day Adventist church is Ellen G White who claimed to see visions. Today we know that she probably had Temporal Lobe Epilespy. People with bipolar disorder can also hear things that are not there when in a state or mania.

When it comes to the liar claim, the Mormon church was founded by Joseph Smith and his inner circle claimed many supernatural events connected with the church. They were intensely persecuted and driven from their homes many times and many even killed yet none of them admitted they lied. One reason is that they could have been brainwashed. Also if they admitted then that would only anger their critics even more and alienate their mormon friends.

Another possibility is that the writings we have were not written by the original apostles and were exaggerated accounts of what happened much like other mythologies. We don't even know if there were any good refutations of Jesus or that the apostles confessed because we don't have any writings from the critics of early Christianity trying to disprove it. The only writings are from Christianity's inner circle so there is a lack of evidence to make these supernatural claims.

A belief can be proven to be true, or at least the one that makes the most sense. Here is an example, who created the world, God, or nothing.

in other words, belief in god justifies belief in not god, negates belief

belief in god negates belief in god by possible belief in not god.. if belief is the justification for god
