I feel that these groups of people are just as deadly as the Bubonic Plague and we should deal with this problem. Someone accept this challenge and I will enlighten you why.

Hello, visionofdan. I would love to prove you wrong in the topic of "Homosexuals are Destroying America." First of all, how do you prove that they ARE bad for soicety? You dont make any resolutions in your discussion. Here is a list of all the incredible actors, personalities and other people that you MIGHT have heard of.

Joan Baez, Musician (present)
Zeno, Greek philosopher (500 B.C.)
Sophocles, Greek playwright (496?-406 B.C.)
Socrates, Greek philosopher (470?-399 B.C.)
Aristotle, Greek philosopher (384-322 B.C.)
Alexander the Great, Macedonian ruler (356-323 B.C.)
Emperor Hadrian, Roman ruler (76-138 A.D.)
Richard the Lion-Hearted, British ruler (1157-1199)
Richard II, British ruler (1367-1400)
Leonardo da Vinci, painter-scientist (1452-1519)
Benvenuto Cellini, Italian goldsmith (1500-1571)

Jean Baptiste Lully, French composer (1632-1687)
Frederick the Great, Prussian ruler (1712-1786)
King Gustav III, Swedish ruler (1746-1792)
Baron Alexander von Humboldt, German naturalist (1769-1859)
Lord Byron, British poet (1788-1824)
Tennessee Williams, American playwright (1911- )
Tchaikovsky, Composer
Pedro Aldomovar, filmmaker
Alexander the Great, conqueror
Hans Christian Andersen, writer
Ellen Degeneres, TV Host
Chastity Bono, daughter of Sonny Bono and Cher

Truman Capote, writer
Traci Chapman, singer
Mary Cheney, daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney
Margaret Cho, comic
James Dean, actor
Allen Ginsberg, poet
Cary Grant, actor
Merv Griffin, television mogul

I think that is enough examples.

There are so many famous homosexuals that did incredible things for society. They contribute totally differnt view to everything. I can understand that some religions do not condone Homosexuality, but this debate has nothing to do with religion. This is a debate about Homosexuals in their own right, not in religions sense. I am saying that Homosexuals have discovered some great thigs and there is really no argument you can make besides Religion, and that is not what this debate is about. Thank you.

Alright Friend-o,
I'll tell it to you how it is, but you might not want to hear it.
Joan Baez- She is bi or heterosexual: does not count, but she still is bad because she is a hippie and hippies also threaten to destroy America.
Zeno- We would of all been a lot better off without his paradoxes and you know that
Sophocles- His Theban plays include Oedipus having a physical relationship with his mother, Jocasta. And this is being read by high schoolers everywhere!?
Socrates- Instead of asking "why", maybe he should of found out by himself like real American patriots do everyday. Laziness cannot be tolerated in America
Aristotle- Created the 5 elements which was later taken by a skateboard company called Element. This company promotes skateboarding and what goes along with it (smoking weed, getting L'd?) which is more un-American then soccer
Alexander the Great- He influenced Oliver Stone to make a movie about him which featured a scene of gay sex with Colin Farrell, which in result, put Colin on my hate list
Emperor Hadrian- Try building a wall but failed. Gives hope to Mexican aliens everywhere
Richard the Lion-Hearted- Was the brother to John who was an enemy to my hero, Robin Hood
Leonardo Da Vinci- He influenced Dan Brown's propaganda, The Da Vinci Code, which put down Jesus Christ. No one puts down Jesus
Richard II- Not gay, get your facts straight
Benvenuto Cellini- Last time I checked, all goldsmiths are part of GWB's axis of evil
Marlowe- The blank verse promotes anarchy
King James- Dropped his knickers in front of the English people. How could you possibly feel this man is helping America?
John Milton- More like John Let's Destroy America-ton
Jean Baptiste Lully- Is French, do i need say more?
Frederick the Great- Planted the roots for the rise of Nazi Germany. Sure he's not bad. Just a delight. ( By the way, that is sarcasm)
King Gustav III- By losing a war with Russia, he gave the commies self confidence which later resulted in the Vietnam War. But we kicked their commie behinds anyway
Baron Alexander von Humbolt- A nazi
Lord Byron- Helped unify Italy, a mistake which sent thousands over to America which led to the Mafia
Tennessee Williams- He writes plays for Broadway. Broadway!
Tchailkovsky- His music gives me and thousands of other Americans nightmares
Pedro Aldomovar- Is an Illegal immigrant, should be deported immediately
Hans Christian Anderson- Wrote the Little Mermaid, real genius- again sarcasm
Ellen Degeneres- Believes in this false idea called global warming, hahahahahaha
Chastity Bono- You kiddin me
David Bowie- Is metrosexual by the way and is the man with the plan
Marlon Brando- Taking advantage of native girls does not go synomously with homosexuality, get your facts straight
William S Burroughs- Is a beatnik and you can thank me later for exterminating all those b@stards back in the 50's
Julius Caesar- I believe he had a pretty hot and heavy relationship with Cleopatra, and she was a woman, right?
Truman Capote- My girlfriend made me sit through Breakfast at Tiffany's thanks to this a@@hole
Traci Chapman- A hippie ( Joan Baez)
Mary Cheney- A single flaw to an otherwise perfect man
Margaret Cho- Should also be deported
James Dean- His car crash was God having his sweet revenge
Allen Ginsberg- (see Burroughs)
Cary Grant- He didn't do anything wrong except be extremely handsome
Merv Griffin- Don't get me started about him

So as you can see, I proved you wrong. All homosexual people are ruining America, except Cary Grant

First of you are considering Cary Grant "Extremely Handsome," which by me a guy considering another guy "Extremely Handsome" makes you seem quite homosexual. I also want to point out that you only critiqued what bad things my list of homosexuals did for soicety that was bad. You did not prove that they are "as bad as the bubonic plague." They have made incredible contributions to HOMOSEXUAL SOCIETIES, and you havent shown any proof of anything otherwise. Here is some hard facts about gay organizations.

These are only the US organizations. Gays are supported worldwide and in so many states. There is no credible proof (besides the bible, of which we are not debating or considering) that gays as a group have ever done anything bad. I want you to prove to me that gays as a whole have done something bad, if you are so passionate that they are bad for the world, prove it.

Just because these terrorist organizations exist doesn't make them right. All These organizations do is plan out ways to destroy our beautiful country and persuade our kids to join their "team". It is wrong and needs to be stopped.
And in terms of Cary Grant, what man doesn't want to spend a night with him? And you cannot get straighter then me.
Straight as an arrow.

You say how they are terrorist organizations. Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization. You also said "And in terms of Cary Grant, what man doesn't want to spend a night with him? And you cannot get straighter then me.
Straight as an arrow."

Now as far as Im concerned, thats a contradiction in terms, unless you are not reffering to Mr. Grant as being "extremely handsome."

These organizations are not zapping in anyone that doesnt want to be part of a Homosexual Rights organization. This debate has turned to strict opinion on your part and This was supposed to be a real debate with real information. So far there is just a lot of opinion mumbo-jumbo. Gays have rights, just as much as we straight folk do. I personally respect Homosexuals and have two in my family. I am perfectly OK with that and I love them the same. They are NOT the next terrorists and this as well is clearly based on opinion.

Here are some GREAT positions some very influencial and inspriing Homosexuals have done.

Philisophers

Scientists

Entertainment/Television

News Anchors

Politicians

Actors

Cameramen (Im sure there are some)

Writers

Singers

Warriors

Poets

Caeaer

Rulers

Playrights

Metal workers

This only proves my point that gays are not "out to take away our kids" or to destroy the world. Thank You.

I guess my debate still stands...The final point is that you have presented no proof that homosexuals are destroying america and that they have even done anything bad.

Thank you.

You also never showed that they're not destroying America. Listing famous gay people doesn't prove that they aren't harmful to the country. All it shows is there are many famous gay people. Same goes for listing gay rights organizations. It just doesn't show that gays are not destroying America.
