One can only truly be allowed to believe in in either their own or someone else's opinion if they are not bias. To know whether or not something is true, it needs to be supported by evidence. Unfortunately many of our historic facts on war are told by the victor and there for it is told with the same view that they fought with. It becomes one sided and we fail to learn what the other side was fighting for. Most often when the other side does manage to tell their story it is ignored by the majority of both those who won and those who lost. My main focus on this topic is about WWII and "the evil man Hitler". His idea of a free world might not have been ideal, but his war was for his people and a better world. Now i will never justify what he did, but he wasn't the only one who went that far. Many leaders and rulers broke down certain ethnic groups, because they believed it would be better for the world. However, they had bias beliefs of world order. When Hitler rose to power, he rebuilt a broken nation that was broken because of corrupt leadership in other nations. He built a proud and traditional based land that raised Germany in to the era that it has ever been. But unfortunately, most of the world didn't agree with his views. When Germany fell, the world yet again took advantage of the "aftermath" and made sure that Hitlers hard work was demolished. And so we have come to know him as a evil murderous scum that should have never been born. And of coarse this was promoted by our socialistic government that wanted to make sure nothing ever rivaled their own ideologies again.
However, if you take a neutral view of the time of Hitler's reign, you would see that the only thing wrong with Fascism expressed by Hitler was the holocaust. The holocaust was also used as propaganda against Hitler's fascism. To conclude, although Hitler's actions that caused millions of lives to be lost was wrong, he was not as bad as our government made him out to be.

One main fact that must be highlighted: we live in a world where no two persons are alike. We all have different experiences, different views, different attitudes. One person can be broad-minded, where another can be narrow-minded, and the majority of the present population is (you just got to admit) narrow-minded, meaning without even thinking twice, they'd start with a but... and contemplate the rest of the matter by themselves in their own opinion. Imagine what could happen if such narrow-minded people controlled the political future of a nation? In democracy, for example, the people choose their ruler. What if the majority of people are idiots? They end up making the wrong decision. To avoid such mishaps, or if I were to be specific, to avoid people taking Hitler as a bad example, the government stresses on the horror of his misdeeds, and turns him into a figure highly frowned upon in society. Just imagine, what would it be like if a person rose to political power and decided that (merely an example) Asians were scum? Holocaust scene all over again. Likewise, imagine what would happen if an equally powerful nation as Germany decided to take over the world and wipe out all other nations? World War III, in short. To avoid such a situation, the government shows us only one end of the telescope that is best suited to us. As in all government-kept secrets, the true tale is eventually revealed when the time is right, when the old wounds have healed and scars have faded, and old disputes are gone for sure. In conclusion, every government is one elected by the people, for the people, and whatever decisions they take, they are for our best. And anyway, the truth can never be kept from the world for long, and the government knows this, so there can't be any other reason for them to censor such facts.

It is most accurate when somebody who's not on any side tells the war's story. If a victor talks about it, they say how they are super great and stuff. If the loser talks about it, they talk about how they fought valiantly and how the "evil" winners shall recieve revenge and stuff.
