I never get a chance to connect with my enemies. What kind of a joke system is that? Is a person supposed to be friends with everyone? That's unrealistic. Social media should let you add your enemies too. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer, how can you follow the sage advice if there is no button for it? Ridiculous.

I accept your argument.
First of all, if you truly are a debater, you should be aware of the fact that a debate topic is never a question, rather a statement. No issues. I understood the topic.
You said that keep your friends close and enemies closer, completely agreed. But how can we keep the enemy close when we specify to him/her that he/she is our enemy by using that hypothetical enemy button? Being 'friends' with everyone doesn't necessarily mean that inside our minds we think of them of them that way. In fact, by telling them on the outside that we are their friend we can track them and observe them or as you said ' be closer to them.' as enemies.
And do you really want the chance to connect with them as you said? I don't think any person wants that kind of negativity of an enemy around them.
And you can in fact follow the sage advice, provided you are smart enough to befool them.

Also, if you have your enemies listed the way you have friends listed, it will be really downgrading and mean for some people to see people comment and say bad things to them on social media. All then it will become is a game of bigger egos. As if such sites did not affect people already, people will only aim to put down each other's enemies, which is a particularly stupid exercise.
And if you really want such a list, then there should be lists for everything right? Job friends, fake friends, real friends, hi-bye friends etc. There is no end to such things.
The sole reason we make 'friends' is to stay in contact with them and stay updated about their lives and interests. That is all. No one really cares who is who's friend and enemy.

As the opponent has apparently forfeited the rounds, I rest my case for this argument.
