This is a quite difficult essay topic for me. I suppose opening a debate among you guys would help me find the best ideas for it. Thank you!!!!!

that is not completely true. Human Identity is defined by many things, but what he or she owns is not one of them. Human identity is defined by what he or she looks like, what he or she does, and of course, what he or she posts on Facebook and Snapchat.

Many rich people like Bill Gates and Werren Buffet are not lauded for their weath, but for their generosity and contribution to the common good. Bill founded the largest private foundation on the world, which has helped enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty globally, and in America, expand educational opportunities and access to information technology. While Warren Buffet give away his fortune to charity, with 83% of it going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in June 2006, which was highly appreciated and honoured by many people.

This proves that a human is indeed defined by what he or she does exactly. Also, In this day and age humans are defined by what he or she looks like almost immediately. For example, when a person walks into a room we instantly judge them by their looks, taking in what they're wearing, what their skin color is, their physical shape, and of course, how beautiful they are in the face, or if they're wearing too much makeup or any makeup at all. Face book has become a very large social media source as well as snapshot and when we meet someone we immediately, go to their profile (not even on face book, but many other types of social media too) and try to see where their interests lie.

Reasons for voting decision: The resolution is worded in the negative, and the Instigator took the Con position. Thus Con is affirming that people are not defined by what they own. Both sides agreed that is so, so the debate goes to Con. Resolution are supposed to statements affirmed by Pro. There is no excuse for con to have posed a double negative question as the topic, so conduct goes to Pro.
