Humans are sentient.
Debate Rounds (1)
My opponent's singular argument is an appeal to authority, in that my opponent says because he/she said something is true, therefore it must be true. This argument does not affirm the resolution due to it being a logical fallacy . Since this is my opponent's singular argument, and it fails to fulfill the BoP, Con claims victory by default.

Reasons for voting decision: Arguments: Pro's sole argument is an appeal to authority, as Con has pointed out. In which case, regardless if Pro's conclusion, that is Humans are sentient, is true or false, his argument is still invalid. => Con's win.
