Pro

This is a bit of an unconventional debate.

I am predicting that I will lose this debate.

Losing is defined by getting less points from voters. The standard DDO definition of winning and losing.

If I am correct in my prediction that I will lose this debate, I win this debate.

I am also going to be very specific about my opponent's argument.

My opponent, Con, must argue that I will either win this debate or that this debate will be a tie.

This is the only way that Con is allowed to approach this debate. Ther

If Con is successful in his or her prediction that I will win this debate or that it will be a tie, then he or she will win this debate.
MasterKage

Con

This is a paradox.

If you lose the debate, since your trying to prove that you would lose you would win

If you win the debate, the resolution was I will lose this debate, so you would have lost.

So in order for me to win you would need more votes.

Vote Con.

stop making debates that ruin your win loss record. These debates downgrade your political intelligence. (or make it look so as you lose more) I had 3 debates like this, lost 3 times.

There are dozens of these on this site. I don't think I've ever seen the instigator win one.

Reasons for voting decision: At the time of this vote, the score is tied, which is a failed prediction by Pro, and so he loses the vote. However, if we are going based on logical arguments, we would find that one cannot accurately predict, since the winner will keep changing with every vote. The real winner depends on who is winning at the time of the last vote, and that is not predictable (at least not by anything given by Pro).

Reasons for voting decision: This is a very interesting debate that I think offers an unfair advantage. Con's argument is clearly superior, pointing out the contradiction in Pro's words ("If you lose the debate, since your trying to prove that you would lose you would win If you win the debate, the resolution was I will lose this debate, so you would have lost", but if I afford points for argumentation to Con, then that means PRO has won (since he is losing) and therefore another voter needs to vote for him, and so on.:)

Reasons for voting decision: crazyman made a good point, cons argument is a paradox because it has the chance to fail And I'm sorry, selbe thats a total votebomb, so I am modifying it to make that RFD less worth. The source points are a counter votebomb selbe

Reasons for voting decision: The only way I can vote for pro is to vote for con. This was a fail debate. So, since I agree that pro will lose this debate, I must fulfill that prediction by giving the points to MK. This is not a vote bomb.
