Students should complete homework for school for many of the following reasons, one it will help them develop a work ethic, two it will help them with self-esteem, responsibility, becoming independent and time management. Doing homework has also been proven to improve communication skills throughout a family, inform a parents on what is happening in school and fulfill directives from administrators. Homework helps students become familiar with some of the complications in life, like stress... if students aren't faced with stress now then once it is brought upon them later in life they won't know what to do. Furthermore, homework helps students in many ways and without it we could have abunch of unsmart, unprepared people running around and we don't need that. All you have to do is take charge and make it to where students do have to complete homework in school
I believe that students should NOT finish their homeworks, heck, I don't even think that students should be assigned with home works at all! People always think that in-school activities aren't enough to provide quality education, that students would not take school seriously, considering the fact that they are surrounded by friends, etc, but is this enough reason to take away the students' time for self-activities, family times, and resting periods? I don't think so.
