That... Wasn't as helpful as I hoped. Eh, I feel like violating your ethics can be a slippery slope. Sliding along until that ethic you violated isn't your ethic anymore. If you like your ethic and the project isn't that important, don't violate it. If you like to do as you like and consider the project important, violate it and gain some new ethics.
