I intentionally made the character limit really small so I can hit it every single time and not have to ramble. I'll ramble anyway, it's fun. Somehow my opponent will have to prove that I do not have 500 characters every time. The only way to prove it or disprove it is copying and pasting into a word processor and doing a character count. I will take screenshots of my exact argument and post links to them in the comments section so I don't take up any space I may use to ramble. This is exciting.

The maximum amount the character limit allows is 8000. We know this based on the fact that the character limit for all debates was 8000 b4 V3. Since anyone with administrative power can quite easily change debates back to all being 8000 characters, the maximum potential remains 8000. Through making this a 500 character debate, PRO has prevented himself from being able to use the maximum amount of characters that the site limit allows

And comment section posts are not part of the debate. :D

I only said that I will do the exact amount that the character limit allows and because the character limit is 500, I will do 500. I did a find on this page and the only time the word maximum shows up is in your argument. I was hoping I wouldn't have to argue anything and could just talk about my fantasy baseball team or something, but whatever. Now I am happy that you declined my other debate because all you would've had to do is accept any of my open debates like you did here and I would lose.

It doesn't matter. PRO claimed that the character limit allows 500 characters when it in fact allows 8000 (allows = maximum). Problem is---PRO isn't an administrator, thus does not have the ability to use the 8000 during any round thanks to the way he set the debate up.

Beyond that, if you'd look at the first post in the comment section, you'll notice that PRO used it to add onto his argument. Since the first round is exactly 500 characters, the additional amount loses PRO the debate still.

It is still 500, I am not using the post in the comments to help me, and if anyone thinks they help me, please disregard it when you vote. I have other pictures but I will not use them. There is no proof that you can go up to 8000 characters. I can only do 500 characters and I am doing exactly what I said I would every single time. The only way you could show me that you are right is by using more than 500 characters in the next round. If you don't do that I think that you do not have any proof.

1) PRO DID use the comments to help him. He said he would in his R1 and then went on to post in the comment section. Since he considered the comments as part of the debate, that's more than 500 characters on his part. There is nothing he can say to change this fact.

2) The proof of 8000 char. has already been explained in R1. In essence, it is something only administrators can do. All PRO is doing is doubting that Phil (the website owner) has any power over his website. Absurd.

All of that is understandable, but you acknowledged making the comment, so it doesn't matter.

Also, how did the comment get removed?

he's selling it as an add-on to another site to get an edge over competitors http://www.webcorp.com...

First of all Phil is trying to sell the website for 500k so he obviously wouldn't care about an insignificant debate like this one and second is that my comment isn't there so you can't use it against me.

What happened to his first comment? How did it get removed? Oh well. Doesn't matter since it was acknowledged in his first round.

Thanks for not leaving me room to gripe about my fantasy baseball team.

Actually, you must be talking about him. If we were to include comments, that'd be 2500 characters. Then again, this is in terms of the amount of characters allowed. PRO would have the post as many comments as possible in order to win. From what I've seen, there is no known maximum to the number of comments allowed in a comment section.

Although that does remind me of two additional ways to win this debate as CON.
