 Pro  Con My opponent states, "Vote for Pro if you believe I will lose this debate." Well, he is Pro. And if you believe he will lose, then you can not vote for him, since that would disprove this statement that he will lose. Anyway, this statement is completely illogical, since if a voter believes that a person will lose, then they will clearly vote against him/her. Now, the resolution states, "I will lose this debate." This is in reference to my opponent, the Pro, the instigator. thus, you must negate. |

losin mah debate
I would never take place in these debates though. I wouldn't participate.
For everyone else, however, this debate would be determined purely by which debater they liked more. This is the sad truth of this debate, seeing that it is a paradox in that voting for either side is a logical contradiction. Thus, there can be no true "winner" here because both sides are inherently flawed. I think this is an interesting experiment and not just a silly debate as most people will mark it off as.
I appreciate your (and everyone else who has posted in this') interest in this, though. :D
This though I have to admit is a cheap and easy way to gain wins.
