During 1940, Germany was Locked down over the Skies of Britain in an air duel we now call the 'Battle Of Britain'. During which, The Luftwaffe began Bombing RAF airfields and completely destroying the RAF's strength, And had of they kept doing that, The Luftwaffe would have likely had complete Air supremacy, Which was needed to carry out operation sea lion (German invasion of Britain).

But, German High command didnt realise this would work as they Britain refused to capitulate, So just as the RAF was about to be utterly destroyed, The Luftwaffe decided to stop runway cratering and switched to other Skirmishes, Which effectively gave the RAF breathing space to replenish their Air force, Get a good strength back and then proceed to eventually, Essentially, Kick the Luftwaffes arse.

So my point is, Had of the Luftwaffe Kept Runway cratering, And destroyed the RAF, And then succesfully carried out Operation Sea Lion, And Annexed Britain. Then they would have Won WW2.

Because America wouldnt have anywhere to prepare forces for an Invasion of Europe because to them Britain is essentially just a massive aircraft carrier in the Atlantic. Which would then mean that Germany could have then directed its fully force onto the Soviet union without having to also maintain a Western front AND an Africa front (because there would be no British to fight for north Africa).

And lets not forget, As germany was fighting on 4 Seperate fronts (West, East, Africa to the south and the Balkans to the south east) They still managed to get within 18 miles of Moscow before being repelled for the rest of the war. Imagine if they had the forces that were being used on those other fronts to fight the USSR ? Surely the addition of 3 Entire fronts worth of armies would have been enough to close that 18 mile shortcoming of the Whermacht and cause a Russian Capitulation ?

And surely once Russia became part of the German Reich, At this point Both the USA and Germany would have developed Atomic bombs (Lets not forget, Germany had all the theory for making Nuclear weapons at the End of WW2, They just didnt have the resources to build one). So imagine if they now had the Near Infinite resources of the Soviet union, And they could field the amount of Nuclear weapons that Russia did. USA would either be able to start a Nuclear war with Germany (Very silly idea) or be forced to negotiotate peace or a stalemate in the name of Mutually assured destruction for the good of Humanity.

Just to think, That a silly mistake from Herman Goring to call off Runway cratering in south England caused a chain of events that led to the Anhialation and Failure of Germany.

So yes, Do you think this is true ? Or think this would not happen ?

Although I agree with you that Goring's change of air doctrine penalized the Germans against the English, I disagree that it cost Germany the war.

First of all, in order for Operation Sea Lion to have succeeded, not only would the German Luftwaffe have had to overcome the RAF but they also would have overcome the Royal Fleet, and the German navy was simply not up to the task, even with air superiority.

Second of all, if the Germans had launched Operation Sea Lion, it would have HAD to have put back the clock on Operation Barbarosa. The Luftwaffe only had so many planes, and they could only be in one action at a time. The more time that passed, the more that the Russians would have had to build up on the Polish border. It is quite possible that the only reason that the German army came that close to Moscow was that the attack against the Russians had caught Stalin off-guard. The German intelligence had grossly underestimated the strength of Stalin's troops, thinking the Red Army to be under 100 divisions in strength. It seems to be a safe assumption that the Russians would have build up much larger forces had they seen Germany on the verge of victory against the United Kingdom.

Thirdly, I disagree with the notion that there would have been no other suitable area large enough to stage forces from the United States had the United Kingdom capitulated to the Germans. I would suggest Ireland would have been suitable. Other posiblilties could have included Spain or Italy.

It was the Soviets, not the English or the Americans, that paid the butchers bill of the Second World War.
