This is not really a debate; more so a question that I can not find an answer to. If God is all knowing, why should we make our own decision. Why shouldn't we just go with the flow and do whatever we want. Now I know that would be socially unacceptable and probably get to the point where some of the things I may be doing is illegal but really, if this Man does know it all why shouldn't I take this mans coffee who is in front of me because it looks good. Or why shouldn't I just kill this man. God knew I was going to kill this man exactly 24 years 265 days 13 hours and 45 seconds to the dot. Correct? I really hope this is a childish question to someone because I would be very happy to hear an opinion on this. Sorry about any grammatical errors to you grammar heads.

I accept the debate against the idea that solely because God knows what we are going to do, that we, as rational human beings, should be able to do whatever we so please.

I'm assuming that this is a question of morality, on a religious scale. Let me first state that there is a difference between knowledge and force, especially in a case involving God. Simply because God has knowledge over what is and is to come, does not morally or justify the action. For example, stealing the coffee from the man in front of you is a sin. It is a sin whether God had no knowledge over the event as well as if he predicted your action. So, basically, if you do not wish to commit a sin and be punished, then you shouldn't do whatever you want simply because you urge for it.

But, let me go further on to say that by you choosing to do what you want, you're still making a decision, moral or not.

From my perspective, it seems as if you didn't properly elaborate the question. Are you trying to ask why is there good or bad when God has already foreseen everything? If so, then, once again, I shall turn to my first statement: "that there is a difference between knowledge and force,..." As a human being, the choice is entirely up to you. For example, lets say I have a mischievous child, and that said child, age 16, wishes to hang out with his friends, who are also equally mischievous. I, as a parent, am aware of the strong possibility that my child my engage in immoral activities (drugs, sex, crime, etc) and, of course, I tell him not to, yet he does it anyway. I knew that he would do such a thing, but does that make my social/moral demand void? No, as he, as a rational person, has the mental capacity to make a unique decision.

That is all I have for now. If I misunderstood you, please say so in the next round for I may rethink my response.

But I'm not one of the voting options!
Anyway con had a great question, but presented it weakly and failed to respond. Pro made an argument that would have still won against a better argument, I just wish there had been the exchange.
