He is. The reason hell is torture for bad people is because they are ashamed and hate Him and he is around them and loves them. So yes, He is.

Con

Yes, God created hell to send those who did not choose him. And the worst punishment in hell is not to burn in fire, but to be separate from God for eternity. That is why God is not in hell, because the punishment he has given those is to be separate from him. And when they realize that they are eternally doomed and can never be reunited with God, that is when they suffer the most.

No because hell is a false teaching. The real meaning of hell is the grave and no god is not dead.

These problems come from pagan belief. Stubble burns to become ash, chains of darkness equate to nothingness

Hells punishment is seperation from god.
