First round is acceptance.

Interesting idea I'll except, but what exactly do you mean.

Pro

I'm not trying to impose semantics...........

"SO DON'T YELL AT ME"

Alright............

Illegal = not conforming to law.

In scientific terms not conforming to the law would be: A theory, a hypothesis.

Evolution is a theory.

It is not a scientific law.

So it doesn't conform to law making it illegal in scientific terms.

Con

So basically, from what I understand your argument is merely a slight of words and that "Evolution is a theory, and sense a theory is not proven, and sense its not proven its not science therefor not conforming to a rule." I'm not sure if you where meaning something else or this is petty wordplay but this is still the case; there is and has been very much undisputed proof of evolution and the way it works.

Pro

No.

1. A theory is not a law.

2. Evolution is a theory.

3. Evolution is not a law.

4. Illegal is not conforming to the law.

5. Therefore, evolution is illegal.

My argument still stands.
Kkyhtthebaconking

Con

Ok I GUESS that it makes more scence now, however my arguement still stands, that is merly a play on words, if anything I would say that evolution does not conform to a law of science. Furthermore, evolution is NOT a theory because it is proven. That is all I have to say because you are obsesing over dead point when I am telling you that your stupid wordplay doesn't work, now are you going to listen or are you going to present a decent agreement.

Furthermore, evolution is NOT a theory because it is proven.

There may certainly be proof for evolution, but it is not proven.

That is all I have to say because you are obsesing over dead point when I am telling you that your stupid wordplay doesn't work, now are you going to listen or are you going to present a decent agreement.

I have presented a decent argument, you have not refuted it yet.

Gravity is a theory, but are you floating into space? "Theory" is science does not mean the same thing as "theory" in every day speech.

Reasons for voting decision: Not a particularly strong argument from Pro, but multiple forfeits (especially in the last round) has left con's counter argument as merely "it's a stupid play on words", which is true, but not exactly a convincing counter. Pro wins.
