Learners can communicate with facilitators via online communication software, e.g. Skype, MSN messenger and etc.

It's a matter of personal preference. Many people prefer to learn in a classroom. If e-learning is truly more fun and effective, why would people be spending thousands of dollars to learn in a classroom when they can learn the same things online at a lower cost? That clearly implies that they prefer classroom-learning. A possible reason might be that people enjoy the company of others. Sitting alone in your house with a computer can get boring.

You haven't really posted any arguments. This could have been an interesting debate. If anyone is interested, here's a link to some information about classroom learning (1). Here's one about the benefits of e-learning (2).

For me classroom learning is that I have the immediate opportunity to ask questions of the instructor. At the same time, I feel that this is overshadowed by the convenience factor, that is, being able to "take the course" whenever I am able during the day/evening.
