We all agree our India is a developing country, but in no way it is losing its culture and heritage. Yes I do agree that India is not the same as it used to be few decades back, vast changes have taken place in various fields, starting from technology to glam world, from people's mentality to lifestyle, views,.. everything. Yeah of course the advancement has reached a certain level where we have to put back out believes and customs to cope up with the pace of this world, as we are somewhat following the western countries, because they are the ones who are among the most developed in all aspects. And to step in the shoes of the ones who are steps ahead us is never a bad idea!. But that doesn't at all mean we have kicked off our culture, heritage, believes etc etc for the sake of developing. We are still the Indians. Following the western countries has never made us wear black costumes on mourning days of a dead, neither it has shirked us from the traditional 'joda' in marriages. There are many more points, but I would like the Pro to put up their views too, first. Good luck everyone.

perhaps its culture is merely changing. it wasn't always as it is now and in a couple of thousand years it will be completely unrecognisable. progression is constant, culture changes and the idea of a social heritage is completely outdated.

the whole world knows that the India is a developing country but the question is ' Is India developing at the cost of its culture and heritage' I think india is doing such. Because in india culture and heritage are today is part of india's dirty politics. apart these india has a many religious sects like Hindu, Muslim, Sikh ang isai. only in hindu religion there are many other sects and many tribes and the had there own culture . they all have there own culture which is not good enough for being developing. these orthodox means of cultural belonging makes india underdeveloped country. I think we should make a meseum and make script of all cultures and place them at meseum to make it a bad part of history and ged rid out of this and show the world a new developing india with true means of developing and make india a developed india.
