Indian voters are not at all immature. I would like to explain my angle by an example of our present Prime Minister Narendra Modi I think Indan voters were mature enough to select their prime minister because the got bored from the current rulling party and this time they knew that congress can do nothing to our country expect courpution and this time the needed a new government so the choosed narendra modi as their leader and i think they made a correct desicion by choosing him because he can do something for our country and know we can observe the changes in our political system the reduction of corruption from when the congress party was ruling they made only few changes.

yes i think indian people are ammuter and they easilly swayed by sweat talk. because people not only e level national level but also at the state level the immauturty is shown. in uttar pradesh in 2012 the government give some selfish proposal that if they elected as a chief minister then they give laptop tablet pc and employment announce. and much more thing. And people give him vote and elect him. as like delhi kejriwal give some sweat talk that electricity bill should be reduce. and people elect him as a cm of delhi. and just like narendra modi also show his gujarat model and attract people attention over him. so it can be say that people of india have less immatturity and they easily swayed by sweet talks

This year we took kicking the bums out to a whole new level. The Congress only got 40ish seats out of 545 in the Lower House...
All these guys really did was dole out subsidies and steal money like nobody's business...

They take democracy very seriously over there, or so I'm told by John Stewart.
