Individual social responsibility should be taught at home because it is the parents or guardians of the child to take care of right from wrong. The child should learn right from wrong in the household, but we have gone away with that in today's society. I believe strongly that it is taught from how you were brought up in the world. How you were raised and what kind of person you are will determine if you will achieve individual social responsibility. If you were raised in a family that tells you right from wrong, punishes you from wrong doing, having responsibility to do chores in the house, having social responsibility by volunteering in the community and teaching the child how to be selfless versus selfish. If you teach the child this then he or she will be a great individual entering in the world's society.
I agree with your post here. I also think that it should be taught in schools as well. I do believe that it is the upbringing from the parents to whether the kid has good individual responsibility or not. Good post!
