For this debate, I will be focusing on the two texts, Spirited Away and the picture book The Arrival. I am querying how these two texts are similar and different in how the author has interpreted and relayed his ideas about the theme belonging.

In short, my stance is that interpretation is not subjective and is objective and that most people see the same thing when looking at these texts and the theme of belonging.

First round is acceptance.
I want detailed responses, and an intelligent debate. Good luck.
