I am pro because torture is necessary
an evil

or good for the morale of our own soldiers?
Jifpop09

Con

I just realized that you only gave 15 minute debate times. Anyways, torture is not a neccesary evil. To believe this would mean to believe that society could not continue without evil, which I believe that society could survive solely on the forces of good. Other arguments...

A. Torture is not effective.

B. Torture is inhumane.

C. Torture requires high amounts of moral judgement.

I would like to get more indepth, but only 15 minutes you know.

what do you mean it's not effective?
I will challange any Iraqi man with crushed testicles after torture to tell you how he told his captors EVERYTHING!!

Yes, torture is inhumane, so what?

No, torture requires high degree of violence

That's illegal torture and is a war crime. Torture ussually makes the victim say the first lie that comes to make it stop.

Yes, torture is inhumane, so what?

So! Well I guess North Korea is justified in reducation camps and starving its citizens.

I guess so. I'm kind of doubting he will win a conduct victory anyways.

@ Jifpop09 you could have said some thing instead of forfeiting, Even though I understand your situation for that some sort of discomforting question. I would have countered that question like this, Tell me how many Americans crush young Iraqi terrorists? and there were many other ways it could have been countered.

@Taylur , Mostly I do not award S & G unless some one uses horrible use of language or which makes very difficult to read. Unless I understand the meaning It is okay with me some grammatical errors and minor S & G mistakes.

Jifpop was right to forfeit in this case. Also, Krazzy_Player was wrong to tie both components on their spelling and grammar for obvious reasons.
