Well it's not a myth it is here. We can see that it is clearly mentioned in the November 16th 2012 report by the Internation Atomic Energy Agency that there is high possibility that Iran posses the Nuclear Weapons. As in the report it is mentioned that Iran has been enriching plutonium which is regarded as Weapons Grade. Now the actions of Iran also signifies that they do posses Nuclear energy. Although, Iran has clearly stated that it does not posses any kind of Nuclear weapons as it is against thier religious belief they have not given the Agency Safeguards the full acceses to moniter any weapon manufacturing. An example can be taken from the incident of Ark where the Safeguards were given permisson to examine the site. Then some cooling moderating lines were set up in the facility which had nothing to do with Nuclear energy production. After the setting up of these lines the Agency Safeguards were not given acceses to the facility. We can see now that there are Nuclear Weapons in Iran. Should countries be afriad, should this be taken as a threat. Well no, if this is true then we should not worry as Iran will be bound by the policies on the United Nations and will not be able to use these weapons.

Iran does have a nuclear program - this is not under debate. The question is whether or not Iran has a nuclear weapons program. They do not. Currently Iran is enriching uranium to 3.6% for civilian purposes (and a very small amount of their uranium to 20% which will be used in their American build medical isotope reactor in Tehran). This is very far from having weapons grade uranium. They do not have plutonium or access to plutonium and are not enriching uranium to weapons grade levels. The IAEA has repeatedly said there is absolutely no proof that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons program - this is simply western propaganda designed to incite the populace to accept their brutal and repressive sanctions and in order to justify the coming war with Iran.

Now as you have said that Iran is only been enriching 3% Uranium is completely vague as it is cleary stated in the IAEA report " 7611 kg (+735 kg since the Director General"s previous report) of UF6 enriched up to
5% U-235, of which: 5303 kg is presently in storage; 1226 kg has been fed into the Pilot Fuel
Enrichment Plant (PFEP) and 1029 kg has been fed into the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP) for enrichment up to 20% U-235; and 53 kg has been fed into the Uranium Conversion
Facility (UCF) for conversion to UO2." Which is a clear indication that Iran does posses Nuclear weapons. Now we'll get another aspect of this situation is that we can see that Iran has been hesitant in giving acceses to Agency Safeguards which is a clear indication of something going on in there. The United Nations Security Council had issued a stop in the enrichment of of Uranium but the production have still been on it's mark. Now these facts all indicate that Iran does have a Nuclear Weapons program.

My opponent is lying. Iran does not currently have a nuclear weapon. They would need to be enriching uranium to 85% in order to even begin building a nuclear bomb. They don't have a warhead, they don't have a delivery mechanism, and they certainly don't have uranium enriched to 85%. So how are they supposed to have a nuclear bomb, if they don't have any of the ingredients for a nuclear bomb?

The U.N. security counsel is a joke. The U.N. is a joke. This organization was used to justify the illegal and immoral invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and it will be used to justify the illegal and immoral invasion of Iran. The IAEA's civilian nuclear program is safeguarded by the IAEA. They continue to have access to Iranian nuclear facilities and have never concluded that Iran has nuclear weapons for the simple reason that Iran has no nuclear weapons.

It may be possible that Iran has a nuclear program. It may be possible that you have a nuclear weapons program. There is no proof of either.

Now as my opponent earlier mentioned that a country needs 20% of Uranium to start a nuclear program , now changes his statement to 85%. Well this is complete vauge if you see it as I have clearly proved that Iran does posses Nuclear weaponry. Further more, calling the United Nayion a joke, IAEA a joke is completely bias. As we all know that the UN stands only for world peace, Unity and Disarmament. The argument posted my my opponent is bias and that my point has been proven. We are talking about facts here which I have given.

Iran is enriching a tiny amount of uranium to 20% for use in their america made medical isotope reactor in Tehran. In order to have weapons grade uranium you need to enrich to 85%. Clearly my opponent is very confused. There is absolutely no proof that Iran has a nuclear weapons program - what they have is a civilian nuclear program which is safeguarded by the IAEA.

Clearly my opponent does not understand that the facts point towards the reality that Iran does posses Nuclear Weapons. I firstly like to correct my opponent as the Teheran's plant was initially started by the American Government, but was stopped after the Revolution in the 1970's. Then it was re-started by the help of Russia. Now we can see that Iran posses the Nuke arms as it is firstly, avoiding UN orders(as UN plays an important role in keeping global security and as Iran is been banded by the UN charter to abide by every deceasing of the United Nations). Now until unless the Agency Safeguards are not given full access, it is a clear indication that Iran does have Nuclear weapons.

My opponent's conclusion hardly follows from their premise. Iran not following U.N. orders is not and could not possibly constitute proof that Iran has nuclear weapons. There is no proof that Iran has nuclear weapons because not only do they not have nuclear weapons, they do not have a nuclear weapons program. They don't have plutonium, they don't have uranium enriched to sufficient levels, the uranium they are enriching is safeguarded by the IAEA, they don't have a warhead and they don't have a delivery mechanism. Despite IAEA observation of every stage of their civilian nuclear program they have found no evidence of nuclear weapons.

This is all war propaganda. America wants to invade Iran and gain supply of their natural resources. They want to invade Iran to punish them for not being an American client state and to set an example to every other country in the middle east that you must obey us or else.

It's obviously not a myth considering they OFFICIALLY announced it.
