AI moves peoples to a higher social ladder. There is no reason for factories to employ any workers. This on the other hand creates jobs for other specialties, such as programmers and engineers. That means that, people don't have to work in workplace were the have to do more manual labor, but do white collar work. Why is this important? Because non manual jobs are more healthy for the individuals. Also by automating factories companies win cause there is way less risk. Humans are problematic, they have to drink, sleep, eat and they get fatigued, all these are no problem for a machine, meaning that factories get more efficient, meaning more money. At the end of the day both companies and workers benefit

Con

AI is something we will depend on, knowingly or not. We use it for banking, we use it to make transactions and calculate things we cannot, we just can't go on without it. However, there is a fine line between usage and reliance. Research is crucial to AI development, and if these developments have gone to the point of replacing human-employed jobs, millions of people will no longer economically needed. For all the white collar jobs managing, developing, and maintaining AI, many, many more blue collar jobs will be taken away. Entire communities will need to find new careers. Though a much more economical choice, it is not morally acceptable.
