(Personally, I am against the question, but I decided to give pro a try!)
Isis will not be an easy target to kill, they are obviously not afraid to show the U.S their faces and kill Americans. It took years to kill Bin Laden and even after he died, the group Isis sprung into action. Their army is at least 200,000 people; Obama is doing everything he can in his power, but he cannot just make an executive call. It has to pass through Congress and right now the majority of our government is Republican with a Democrat president. Isis is so large and advanced, they have been funded by 40 countries! Isis will not relent until they get what they want.

America is not doing anything with our soldier, they just keep making the 12 o'clock news headline. "U.S. bombs a family." Then they just say that they were attempting to stop ISIS. Really their just killing innocent families. If America were to do something productive then they just should start a war with them. Why is ISIS even doing this in the first place? Them killing our guys is not stopping anything.

Pro

As sad as it may sound, war creates money. We have soldiers stationed in Afghanistan for the benefit of our economy. France sent strikes to the Islamic state and look what happened; France lost almost 200 people! Isis has killed our soldiers and regular citizens, but they have shown if we strike back they will kill us, just like France killed their people, they went and killed French citizens. They want to aim for D.C which will eventually happen, but right now it's not the right time. They accomplished a mass murdering in Paris and we are giving them more ammunition to aim at us!

I agree very much with you that we are feeding the anger to release against us. If they just keep attacking then we will keep attacking as well. It probably won't end until one of our countries is completely destroyed. Then again, their the ones doing almost nothing but blowing up lives. But still we should at least be doing more to defend our country when it comes to enemies. If we're getting so much money then why aren't we using it? We could just pay mercenaries to take them out for us. We could just let them rant about how mad they are. But no we decide to take action, but with being said haven't done nothing useful yet. That was an opinion.

You stated that they're doing nothing but killing lives - what else could they do? They use lives as their voice and we cannot use anything, threats will provoke them. The U.S is in a difficult position.

andrea i totally agree with you, everything is about money, resources and politics. Is the government going to do anything about this anytime soon? maybe not and because of that people are going to keep dying and eventually the US will get attack on our own homeland just like in 1941..Pearl Harbor...whoever thinks history cannot repeat itself is wrong..

And Fina, the government obviously has the money to. They have power to do whatever they desire in the U.S, but they won't. It took them years to kill Bin Laden for one simple reason: war makes money. We spent years trying to track down the Taliban leader and it took almost 10 years. For instance, why does the government still have us involve in other worldwide issues? MONEY.

Whoever says ISIS won't be an easy target. obviously hasn't made their research. Yes, they are a bit smarter than the Taliban in 2003, but that's because the US and pretty much the rest of the world has been at war with Islam extremist for years now(people learn through out the years). Not only the US has a deadly military, but we also have the money, technology and the brains. IF we wanted to go to war against ISIS we would destroy them, and it wouldn't take years either. Unfortunately our president seems to be against war so obviously ISIS seems like an impossible job to finish.

P.S let's be realistic here, ISIS are not scared of us because we haven't done anything to scare them...
