The people of America are ready for a new form of government. America is getting too out of control. We are being run by the major corporations. they are deciding the outcome of our elections. we are in need of a government that isn't far left or far right. we need a government that compromises for each view or belief and has the people decide on the laws not sit back and take no notice while our government takes control on all of the topics and drive our country into the ground one piece at a time. they have no idea what they are doing. we need to step up and show them the way.

Pro has the greater BOP here. He must show that not only America is ready for a revolution, but that it also needs one.

I would like pro to spend some of the next round, explaining a fair definition of revolution that he would like to use in this debate.

The people of America are ready for a new form of government.

What form of government? How do we insure the form of government we want can be implemented after a successful revolt?

How can we know the revolt can be succesful?

America is getting too out of control.

How so?

What do you mean by too out of control?

Why revolt? Why not reform?

We are being run by the major corporations.

How do you know this?

What's wrong with that?

Who would you prefer to run the government?

they are deciding the outcome of our elections.

What's wrong with that?

How do you know?

Who would you have decide the outcome of elections?

Why would you have them decide them?

we are in need of a government that isn't far left or far right.

Why are far left and far right failed political ideologies?

What do you propose instead of those 2 ideologies?

How is that ideology superior?

we need a government that compromises for each view or belief

Why is compromise preferable to sticking to your guns. Why should it be compromise on each view?

Why not just some views?

and has the people decide on the laws not sit back and take no notice

Why are the people better at deciding laws than elected officials?

Why should people take notice?

If people are not uncomfortable enough to make changes in government, why should they?

while our government takes control on all of the topics and drive our country into the ground one piece at a time. they have no idea what they are doing.

What are they doing that is destroying the country?

we need to step up and show them the way.

How?

Why?

If you can manage to answer these questions we may be able to debate something.

I look forward to your responses :)

I think they already saw it and killed him, since he hasn't placed any arguments.

Dude! You know that the Government likely has seen this debate, right? And that means that if somebody starts a revolution, you'll be a suspect.

Yea a lot of people would die before getting anywhere in this revolution. I know if a tank is rolling down my street, I'm staying inside my house.

American politics have been bought out long ago. Who are you revolting from? The businesses of America own the country so revolt against business? Fight the United States military? Not easy or possible, and since other countries have a hand in American business, they would help.

Reasons for voting decision: FF, but I have difficulties awarding the argument points because mere back-questioning is not a full argumentation for itself.
