Many people like the iOS and Android platform. The android platform is greater than the iOS simply because It is more flexible and adaptive operating system. It allows may different phone manufactures to craft the phone in many unique ways. For example Samsung can take the android OS and build a unique user experience. HTC can do the same etc.... My argument is that when you lock a OS to one default maker you loose a great majority of the possible innovation. The iPhone was an amazing device when it launched. Now, I feel that apple is just adding a few ramification and calling it a new device. Apple has a very conservative outlook on electronics. Android on the other hand has a very liberal outlook. Android is an Open Source operating system that mean you or me could help make make it. This allows it to grow much faster. With an android phone you could do every thing that an iPhone 5 could do and more.
Competition is the heart of innovation. When Samsung, HTC, and Sony are all trying to create the latest and greatest device they directly compete with each other. This results in Innovation. Apple has fallen off the innovation ladder. The rate a which apple innovates could be compared to a crawl. They have no parallel component to compete with. To me that is the greatest problem with apple iOS.

I have a funny analogy I hope you can understand... It's funny but not meant to make the resolution or my argument seem 'silly' in the slightest. I just love using analogies to convert logic back and forth.

This is a competition between the school's top-rated slut and the school's head girl, assuming both are very hot.

The head girl, like iOS, is very efficient, to-the-point is regarded very supreme by those in power (phone critiques) as well as severely feared and respected by those underneath her, the average students (other phone operating systems). She is valued higher by the guys in the school simply because getting laid by her is not only a very difficult task to do in itself due to how much you have to work hard for (like money for an iPhone 5) but also because she, herself is such a prestigious hot girl in bed (as is the iPhone in one's pocket). She is everywhere (her photos are plastered around the school so-to-say) EVERYONE knows who she is for ALL THE RIGHT reasons.

The school slut, like Android, is easier to get than other girls in school (money-wise for the phone). She is defiled and walked all over by other girls, often being mimicked for her 'hotness' but laughed at for the simplicity required to use and get laid by her. Other phone companies easily can copy misses open-source wh0re but that does not make her better, just easier to abuse.

While the slut seems extremely superior to the head girl in most men's eyes, the one's who work their a$$ off to charm, use and abuse the head girl truly live off the fruits of a beautiful entity.

Your argument is very amusing. I belive that you are saying that when apple improves they make it count. The way you portray Android is a bit misleading. You analogy works but the compassion skews the appearance of both platforms. The iOS platform is a very good platform that makes it count. Although the android operating system is more flexible and used by many more people. It dosent classify it to be a abused or copied OS. Android owns over 60% of the Smartphone market. It is not because it is cheap or whoring it self to the consumer. It is because it provides people with a reliable versatile OS that consumer actually like and can Afford! Adding $300 to a device dosent make any better! According to Cnet It only costs apple $167 to make an iPhone 5 when they resell it for over $500. Apple portraits themselves as this super deity of the smartphone world. You buy an iPhone for the name and the simplicity. Let me give you an analogy. iOS is the stuck up over zealous narcissistic conservative girl. She never helps anybody out. Uses a cover sheet on her tests. Reports a stolen sheet of paper to the principal and smashes other peoples projects if they look similar to hers. Essential she is a Super B!@$%. The android platform on the other hand is more laid back girl that helps people in need. Isn't that attractive but makes it up in personality (UI). She more competitive and tries to be the greatest at what she does. Instead of bash people for copying her she just makes something better to belittle he opponent.
