Christians, mostly evangrlicals are teaching their kids that god is the only way of life and that everyone needs to be saved. while everyone is entitled to teach their children what they want, it is not alright to tell your children to kill in the name of god, and that some how makes you a better christian. this is exactly what we criticize the muslims for, and we call them terrorists, but to teach american children the same thing, as long as we dont act on it its alright? what happens when someone decides that its time to act and its time to start a war on those who dont believe and those who support evolution? or science? then will we call it terrorism or a civil dispute? wake up america. Christians are becoming dangerous in their teachings and we need to take action to assure the future will not be a place of "holy war" as the middle east has become

There are many problems with the line of thought pro has presented. Yes, Evangelical Christians do teach their children that Christ is the only way to eternal life and that everyone is in need of salvation.

However, Evangelical Christian do NOT teach their children to kill in the name of God. Instead, they teach the sixth commandant, "You shall not commit murder." I am curious where you are getting your information from. What is your source that Christians in America are teaching their children to commit murder?

Currently, ISIS is committing murder, and they are rightly being condemned for it. Christians are not doing that, and to do so would violate the teaching of their Lord. In the Gospel of Matthew Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca," 'is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." Jesus not only condemned murder, but he even condemned unchecked anger.

You characterization of Christianity is wildly inaccurate. Can you provide support that the majority (or even a significant minority) of Christians teach was you have accused them of teaching?

Pro has provided no response, so all I can do is restate my central point.

The statements made in Pro"s opening arguments have no grounding in reality. They are entirely fanciful and should not be taken seriously.

And another thing. Most of the violence and killing in America is where Christians have very little influence. Like in the inner cities, schools. Let me guess. You were educated in government school.Wake up. Your hate is in the wrong direction.Liberalism will lead you down a primrose path you wish you had never got on.

You really need to chill out. I have been to many churches over the last 40 years and have never heard even one time to kill an unbeliever. And yes, we do teach our children that Jesus is the way, the truth , and the life, and NO ONE comes to the Father but through him. We also teach them to go into the world and preach this good news. Those who believe will be saved , and those who don't ,won't.Simple as that. And we also teach them that we plant seeds of faith when we tell someone of Jesus. We have confidence that words are all that is necessary to convert anyone. It is not our responsibility to make anyone believe this. That is the job of the Holy Spirit to prick their hearts and convict ( convince) them Jesus was raised from the dead. Jesus was not raised from the dead , then tell his followers to kill anyone who won't believe. In fact he told them to heal the sick, binsd up the wounds of the brokenhearted, cast out devils .

I don't know what reality you have been living in, but it is not too late to come back to the reality the rest of us are lioving in.

"Becoming dangerous", do you have any evidence to support that? Christians went through a period of violence during the crusades but that was 700 years ago. They do not teach their children to kill, nor do they now pose any real threat to the world. Evidently you're ignorant of militant Islam. Who is responsible for (most) of the current conflicts in the world right now? Not Christians. On the contrary they are being persecuted in the Middle East.

Right idea, but lacking the knowledge on how to debate this. Pro doesn't know enough about modern Christianity to debate this as best as possible.
