I do not believe that Christ was actually born on December 25. I will explain why in later rounds.

I do believe December 25 is the birth of Christ because the northern star comes in the sky that day and it came up when Jesus was born.

Christians celebrate December 25 as Jesus Christ"s birthday. However, if you actually read the bible, an angel appears to a group of shepherds, whom would NOT be out tending to their sheep in the dead of winter as the ground would be frozen and there would not be enough vegetation for the sheep to feed on, and said to them "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people" (Luke 2:10). Had Jesus really been born in the winter, the shepherds would have been in their barns with their sheep opposed to out in the freezing cold fields where no plant-life would be able to survive.

Well, to recap, it is simply not possible for Jesus to have been born on December 25, because it would have been cold when the angel appeared to the Shepherds and the shepherds would not have had their livestock outside in icy temperatures.

Leo.Messi, at nighttime in the desert, temperatures often get below 0. True, during the daytime, temperatures can be over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. But that is during the day. In the Bible it says the angel appeared to the shepherds at night time.

Yo Nsquared16,
hate to burst your bubble but it doesn't get that cold in Israel during December.
the average temperature is 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit.

So-how would it get to cold in December for the sheep? The ground is not frozen either.

ITS THE MIDDLE EAST FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

The law of sin and death is not the law of Moses. The law of sin and death is in our flesh; even the temptations we have toward sinful things. You say that only the blessings of Deut. 28 were carried over from the law. But the LORD makes it clear, spoken straight from his mouth, that those blessings only apply to those that keep the Law. Let me ask you, what is Grace.

No. It declared that the law of sin and death is in man.In the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy it declares the blessing and the curse. The curse came into man's life with the advent of the rule of satan.God gave man a way out of the effects of the curse. He said, " if you do what I tell you, you will avoid the curse of the law". If you do what I tell you, all these blessings will come on you.

God knowing that this Abraham he was talking to would never be able to keep every word of that covenant. But God told him, " kill a lamb, kill a goat, just don't kill yourself. Those laws were for Jesus to keep, because he could keep them. In Christianity only the blessing was carried over from the first covenant.

Now the law of sin and death is still there. We just have a higher law, the law of the spirit of life in Jesus, the Messiah. When we walk in that law, we soar above the law of sin and death. All those who choose to ignore Jesus are walking in the law of sin and death. That law of life is free and available to all. But God never forces anyone into his life. He will protect any man's right to wallow in the law of death if that is his choice.

By the way, Christmas was created be Constantine the Great, the Roman Emperor, in honor of Sun God Worship. That is why it is celebrated on the winter solstice, December 25. Christmas is evil and pagan, and even satanists celebrate it as one of their satanic rituals. So there you go y'all, you do pagan and satanic rituals in honor of your Jesus, the Sun of God.
Jeremiah 10:2-4
"thus saith the LORD: Learn not the way of the nations, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the nations are dismayed at them."
"For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for it is but a tree which one cutteth out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe."
"They deck it with silver and with gold, they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not."

Amazing, the LORD says not to learn the way of the nations, and then discribes a christmas tree.
Your Christmas celebration is ancient and satanic.

It is a false teaching to say that no one knows when Jesus was born or when he came into the world to visit his people. the truth of the matter is that the Bible clearly shows when Jesus was born if you start with Luke chapter 1 and you read in verse 5 regarding the course of a Abia, which this course ending directly corresponds to John the baptizers conception. Read all about the courses in the old testment namely the Book of 1 Chronicles. Also, Luke 2 and Luke 3 further gives proof for the timeline of the Lord Jes"s' ministry with the info given regarding the known secular rulers that were in charge. Pray for wisdom and Read for yourselves!

drizzy....... It has everything to do with it. We celebrate all year long about the first coming of Jesus. And we are also looking for his second coming to rap this mess up.

Christmas is just a set time to highlight that. Is all. I think most reborn Christians are fully aware it is not the actual date of his birth. We do not worship a babe in a manger. We worship a risen, reborn man , raised from the dead and seated on the right hand of God and has given to those who receive it his righteousness and eternal life. So, why make a fuss over it.
