Nowadays, especially in education institute, students need a lot different kinds of books. E-books is the solution for that one.

First of all good luck to my opponent.

E-books are not better than printed books. While E-books may keep up with the times they do not have the hands on learning like printed books do.

Hahahaa, good luck to you too cons, this is my first time debating.

E-books is better than printed books. It's a innovation to a getting thicker and thicker printed books. Besides, E-books have many features in it. Bookmarks, look up words, dictionary in it, writing notes etc and turn page at a click while printed books? we just open it, read it, and i dunno what can i do again with it. Even, when you need new books. You dun have to go to bookshop and standing in a line. Online Shop. most free.

First all the features you stated (e.g. Bookmarks, look up words, dictionary in it, etc.) can be done with printed books.

Bookmarks-Anything can be used to mark your spot in a book.

Look up words-A dictionary.

Dictionary in it-If you read classics it will tell you on the bottom what confusing words mean.

Writing notes-Pen/Pencil and a piece of paper does that too.

With paperbooks you don't HAVE to go to a bookstore you can go online and most ebooks due to copyright laws they cost MONEY.

I'm sorry..

Bkmrk in printed books? it's terrible when u got new books then u fold it or put something to mark it. it'll leave a track.
so u have to bring books togther with a dictionary? don't u feel heavy? it will be so annoying isn't it?
confusing pen notes around it..so u hve to take out pen and paper each time taking notes?. Those pieces can be lost!

Huh? isn't it vice-versa? e-books can go online! no waiting delivery etc and it is cheaper than printed books eventhough it has copyright!

First of you should never fold the corner of a book that ruins the page, and it will only leave a track if you shove it down really deep between the pages.
Secondly you don't have to haul around a dictionary with you if you pay attention in school or read a lot you learn the definitions of words. Or you can use context clues to help out with definitions.
Thirdly if you think its hard to use a pen and paper you need to take a break from tech keep a folder of notes. That way they won't be lost.

Reasons for voting decision: Con disputed Pros arguments quite well, he didn't forfeit, and had much better spelling and grammar, and although I don't really care if someone uses "u" instead of "you," there's a voting criteria about that on this site, so there you go.
