Georgia Tech is better than Georgia at the overall sports program. Yes, Georgia has went to the SEC Championship two years in a row in football. But, that's the only sports team Georgia has. Georgia has went to the ACC championship two times in the last four years and has actually won it once; on the other hand Georgia has went two years in a row and still has not won it. Yet, Georgia Tech is currently 13th in college baseball, won ACC in track, Basketball is going to the NCAA tournament for the third year in a row. So, it's quite obvious that Georgia Tech has a better sports program than Georgia.
I will be defending my Bulldogs in my argument. The Georgia football team has been to the SEC championship two times in the last year while the Yellow Jackets went to two out of the last four years to the ACC and won. Yet the Bulldogs may have lost they went against heavy hitters Alabama and LSU in their sec championship games. But you must remember that Alabama has been to 3 out of the last 4 National Championship games. Plus they won all three of the national championship games they were in. Plus what about the Lady Dawgs or the gymnastic teams. They have been tearing it up lately.
Sure you have good points, but not that good. You only defended the football team. Yes, they went up against Alabama, but Georgia was number three in the country so if they can't handle the big dogs they need to get out of Division 1 schools. And if I remember correctly, Georgia was beating LSU 10-0 at the end of the first half. Why couldn't they beat them? But anyway, Georgia Tech has 4 National Championships in football, 3 in basketball, and 4 in baseball. Last but definitely not least when Georgia Tech was founded in 1885 they were in the SEC and contended very well and has went to the Big 12 and Big 10 and contended in those conferences. So Georgia Tech can compete in any conference they're in.
