Imagination is rea. Tots play pretend games and they believe in things like fairies exist. Unfortunately as children grow up they lose their imagination and they come a place where reality. Imagination is very important in everybody life.
WhizKid

Con

Is what we imagine real until we grow up? Why call this pretend if it's real? Kids can imagine differently than adults? And what they imagine is real until they grow up?

The reason is because children have more energy than adults and that why they can imagine things that adults cant see. But sometime Children who play imaginary games or listen to lots of fairy tales, stories read aloud from books, or tales spun by those around them tend to have noticeably better vocabularies. Imagination can help in creative work, drawing and etc.

You posed the debate almost like a question "Is Imagination Real" but then support that with "imagination is rea (I'm assuming you meant real).

Next you phrase "tots play "pretend" and they believe in things liked "fairy-tales" exist." (which in my mind that means they don't exist).

Next you make an unsupported claim that children have more energy than adults, which is why they imagine what adults can't?

You did offer an idea that imagination useful. But that is different than real.

Reasons for voting decision: con relied entirely on semantics to prove his case while pro at least made the point that imagining and pretending stuff doesnt make it real. Arguments to the pro but spelling to the con because good lord, its like English is Pro's second language
