Is India really worth being an industrial Economy?
Debate Rounds (3)
Lesser quintile ratios shows the level of disparities existing in the society.
industry does not depend on agriculture. it depends on infrastructure. india has infrastructure. india has cheap and qualified labor. it has plenty of land too. so i don't think it will not be an industrial economy.
besides india is self sufficient on food due to its agricultural economy and she is not gonna loose the position.
So, it's not just about the food sufficiency but also the condition of the work force employed in that sector.
disparity between rich and poor also exist in industrial nation like america.
so it does not matter wheather there is gap between rich and poor, to measure industriability of a nation.
on condition of workforce:
they are well educated, well trained and cheap. so india is a perfect country for industrialization.
