Is Internet the new TV? Yes, I think Internet is the new TV. The way we watch TV is changing, the same stuff we watch we can also pull up on the Internet.
As traditional TV viewership shrinks, numbers are on the rise for online TV streaming services like Netflix. Netflix is a good app that exposes you the almost any TV show or movie. They also has a Netflix for kids too, which has a lot of cartoons that kids enjoy. Netflix has 29.8 million U.S. subscribers, and I'm one of them. I personally enjoy Netflix very much.
Hulu is also another good app that you can watch a lot of movies and tv shows on too. In 2012 Hulu made $690 million. Their both good apps because they are way cheaper than cable, that costs up to less than $10 a month. When you will likely pay over $30 a month for cable. Also Netflix and Hulu doesn't have any hidden charges or fees.
In conclusion, the Internet is way better than TV in my opinion. You are also exposed to more information on the Internet anyways.
