I believe he is. He has sold 355 million albums, including the greatest selling album ever Thriller. He revolutionized dance and pop culture. He crossed racial barriers becoming the first African American to be aired on MTV. And no one can dance like Michael Jackson. Despite his bizarre behavior, he is still the king of pop.

You are wrong about Michael Jackson. He is no longer the king of pop because he isn't that big on the scene anymore. He hasn't had a #1 hit since 1995. He hasn't had an epic release that wasn't just a collection of old songs since 2001.

The Eagles are the top selling rock and roll band, are they the kings of Rock automatically?

The Eagles are not the best selling rock band. The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Queen, and Led Zepplin have all outsold the Eagles.

As for the fact Michael Jackson hasnt had a #1 pop hit since 1995, thats true but his 13 number one singles continue to get an enormous amount of airplay.

As well, he is finishing the recording of an album that will be out in 2008, FYI.

I don't think he is the king of pop because he doesn't represent it anymore. Nobody really does. Pop is becoming a dead genre.

MJ is to pop, what handcuffs are to pedofiles.

We got an indoctrination of MJ pop once, and we have been consequently raped by the talentless and degrading songs of 'N Sync, The backstreet boys, and Britteny Spears, ever since.
