In "The Star Wars Saga" we follow various humanoid characters on their journeys around space. We meet droids, Wookies, Ewoks and other extraterrestrial creatures. I believe that "Star Wars" is more realistic than "Lord of the Rings" because the idea of space travel is more close to what we have than the idea of wizards, elves, and magical rings. We already have droids that have almost full compatibility with C-3PO's basic functions. We have yet to discover a magical ring, though. I absolutely adore both "The Lord of the Rings" books and movies, but when it comes down to the realistic, "Star Wars" takes the lead.

Lord of the ring is more realistic because there is the giant towers of the freaken EYEBALLs!

While that is an excellent point considering that we have both of those objects in today's world, we have yet to find a magical ring and/or a true wizard. Space travel is available to us now, however, along with robots and droids.
