Technology is not harming our brains because without it, we would not have progressed as far as we have done today. The inventors of technolgy allow us to make progress in our understanding so we can build further on our knowledge. Technology isn't just the mobile phones and computers used by humans today, it is also the medicine that allowed us to fight diseases, send man to the moon and publish books. Every progression humans have made is possible because of the technology that got us there.

The inventors of technology, yes they did invent such technology but did they search for the harms? Of cos they don't, they only care about their invention and the positive outcome of it. The electromagnetic wave produce by a technology brings harm to our brain and proven by my own physics textbooks. Looking a computer screen before going to bed effects the quality of sleep.
The internet also effects they way we think. such FB, it weakens the empathy in individuals due lack of vivid conversation

Yes, they searched for the harms, but everything has a possible harm. Think of people like Branca and Oughtred, whom without we wouldn't have the steel rule and stream turbine. Did it weaken their brain to invent it? The past of technology, which allows us to progress to the future.

Also, how would you propose that technology stop harming our brains? Without the technology, we wouldn't have got where we are today, with new knowledge expanding all the time.

Technology has also antidote social media, especially under-aged consumer who has swallowed the harm. It changed how they act, thinks and react. Furthermore, higher technology also has began to be misused. Terrorist using the net to track their victim. Frauds spamming emails. News lying the public. Pedophile activitist. These elements, it has been violently abused and brings harm to all aspects. Even if it brought goods, but it will soon bring more potential harm than good. A crisis perhaps.

Social media can be used in a negative way but think about how it was invented and what it could be used for. It isn't the technology that is the problem, it's the people using it. The terrorists and spammers are simply abusing a system designed to help not hinder society, an issue that admittidly needs to be resolved. In the future, we will discover the harmfulness of technology, but hopefully the progression of the knowledge will lower anonymity so that we are successful in stopping a 'crisis'

Its both technology and people problem. Technology: they reshaped how we think. People: Self-unawareness of its harm. Technology is linked globally. Imagine a single person with highly intelligent and hacked the whole system. How he get there? By the "progression of the knowledge" and mixture of the bad elements in technology, it creates a more vital threat. In this state stopping a crisis will be impossible. In the future, discovering the harmfulness is more likely knowing its already happening
