There are a lot of things out in the ocean or in big lakes that we have not discovered yet so, we might never know but, don't take my position, support why you believe it is or is not.

I don't know if there was a Kraken in our human time, but the earliest mentions were in the 13th century. In the 16th century, maps of countries were drawn incorrectly and sailors mistook Indians for being monstrous and gigantic.

I want to go further. Do humans really tell the truth in the past? The Loch Ness monster was never found. Big foot was never found. Mermaids were never found. It seems people really exaggerate when it comes to folklore. I think one time, there was a large squid, but nothing close to a Kraken.

I'd take it, but you need to actually define "the Kraken".
