For Me: Round 1: Rules and Argument Round 2: Rebuttals Round 3: Argument Round 4: Rebuttals/Argument For Opponent: Round 1: Rebuttals Round 2: Argument Round 3: Rebuttals Round 4: Rebuttals/Argument A) Time Travel Time travel can be extremely complicated. And, time travel can be pretty simple. Did you know you are time traveling all the time? You've time traveled a few seconds into the future since you started reading this, you see? However, that time travel is boring. You probably want to time travel far into the future, or deep into the past. You probably want to see yourself in the future. What will you be like? And, it will also be interesting to see your family's past. What were my parents like? Who was my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandpa or grandma? B) Ticket to the Future? To time travel into the future, scientists would have to have a pretty good estimate on what the future would be like. First of all, what if something big and terrible happens in the future and the world ends? Then, you'd be trapped in some unliveable environment. Second of all, scientists would have to predict the future for every single being on Earth. That is basically impossible. However, scientists could make predictions of the future based off everyone else's. They could create kind of like a "false world" using flying cars, flying trucks, teleporters and much more! Other people believe that if you are in something spinning the speed of light, it can take you to the far future. This is probably the most possibly way to time travel to the future. Because, if you are going extremely fast, faster then anyone else, you'd travel to the years faster then them. However, what if the thing doesn't go with you? Luckily in the future, it would already exist. And, if you could time travel forth, that would mean every single moment that has ever happened keeps happening in some other "demension". I believe this because if you time traveled, other people are still moving on with their lives, right? And, if you stayed in the future long enough, people could catch up to your time (depending on the time you're in) and then there would be a clone of nearly everyone to you. And when they caught up to you, will you or your past self disappear? These are all mysteries. Also, when you go to the future or past, time goes a lot slower than others. Let's say you stayed in the future for 5 years. When you returned, you may be 15, and your high school classmates are already 37, having fun with their kids! C) Riding Down "Memory" Boulevard What about time traveling to the past? What if you ever did something to prevent your parents from meeting? Then, you would've never existed! But if you never existed, you wouldn't of gone back in time to prevent your parents from meeting. Every move you made would have to be an extremely well thought out choice. You would have to think of all of the effects, when you are in the past. Also, think about this: What if your past self saw your time machine lying around and went to the future, or even deeper into the past? If your past self went into the past, and got killed, you would've never existed, and, once again, your past self would've never existed to die. If your past self time traveled to the future, however, they could die by some accident. That would determine that you will die the same way at the same time as your past self did. That's why your time machine would have to be portable, so this can be stopped from ever happening. People have reported evidence of future time travels, but it could be well thought out lies as well. Once, a man reported someone talking on a phone in a movie made in the PAST! What do you think about that? What if you fell off an extremely big cliff, and when you landed, it took you to the future or past? What if time travel hurt human beings? These are amazing questions that may soon be answered. Sources: http://www.huffingtonpost.com... http://spaceplace.nasa.gov... http://io9.com... https://2012thebigpicture.wordpress.com...

Dude. You need a lot more evidence and theory than that to do this debate.

I would love to debate this if you told me WHAT YOUR RESOLUTION IS.
Travelling through space? That's a truism.
Travelling through time? You already declared the normal "passage" of time to be a sort of time travel. Do I have to disprove this, too? I could, but do I need to in this case?
