Is anything 100% true?

True: in accordance with fact or reality.

There is something which is a full '100%' for instance, exam results, reality and many more.

Reality is very perceptive. Now when the medium through which something is perceived is infallible, then yes, it can be 100% sure. However, humans are fallible, and thus, our perception of reality is also fallible.
Which ties back to a point I made on a previous debate (another similar debate): The truth is absolute, our perception of the truth is relative.

Is anything 100% true? Or is truth relative?
In order to prove my side of this debate-I must prove at least 1 thing to be 100% true-which would disprove my opponents side.

Now-to my arguments:
I. "I think therefore I am"
II. Self-Supported statements and Tautologies
III. Conclusion

Can anything be 100% true? Yes. I will show you that somethings can be 100% true.

I. "I think therefore I am."
" The simple meaning of the Latin phrase is that thinking about one"s existence proves"in and of itself"that an "I" exists to do the thinking; or, as Descartes explains, "[W]e cannot doubt of our existence while we doubt " .'This proposition became a fundamental element of Western philosophy, as it was perceived to form a foundation for all knowledge. While other knowledge could be a figment of imagination, deception or mistake, the very act of doubting one's own existence arguably serves as proof of the reality of one's own existence, or at least of one's thought.."

Basically: "Since i am thinking, i know that I have to exist, because in order to think, one must exist."

(More on this in my conclusive argument)

II. Self-Supported statements and Tautologies
This is a complicated topic, so I will try and explain it as simply as I can...

A Tautology is a proposition, or statement that is true based upon its logical structure. For example- "Facebook is Facebook." would be a tautology, because it is true based on logical structure. By definition a tautology is 100% true. So, Facebook would be Facebook, no matter what your perception is. Any tautology is 100% true. America is America, freedom is freedom, Jesus is Jesus, Rome is Rome, no matter what your specific view on any of these topics are, the fact that __x___ is __x___ undeniably 100% true.

So there you have it, a tautology is 100% true.
(more on this in the conclusion)

Resolution: Yes, many things can be determined 100% true. And on these solid building blocks, we can assume other things exist, and debate about our views because we take these simple things for granted. And we can.

Good luck!

It appears to me that the topic is heavily advantageous to Pro.
For example, the following statement:
If A then B, if B then C, A, therefore C, must be completely true.
It does seem to be very interesting though, so i'll be keeping an eye on how this plays out.
Cheers!
