Hands up, don't shoot case is really not necessary for walking the world, but if you want to do that, that's fine. Just know, lots of people will get hurt. I am going to stop that before it slurs up another case, and another set of drama.

Firstly, I think that the 'hands up, don't shoot' protest is a waste of time. It only brings attention for a little while, and half of the time, the court doesn't really do anything to solve the problem, they only make it worse. Besides, the grand jury is mostly made up of Caucasians, which means that they are going to stick up for their kind and not the opposite. When they have given their reply on the case, the people on the other side aren't happy about it. They think the grand jury and the judge wasn't being fair in the case and protest even more, which like I said, isn't really doing anything but wasting their time.

Secondly, people get into the same predicament as Eric Garner did. How come people don't protests for others that have been in the same predicament? How come certain people get rights to have protests about them? People complain about how there is no justice for certain people, when there are other people in the same problem. It's not fair for those people and their families. If people only focus on one person in particular, is it really important? Does it really make everybody aware of their surroundings?

Reasons for voting decision: Con went on to explain why it doesn't help by really just saying "white judges are racist"... This case is horrifically poor. It felt like both sides wanted to complain more than debate. Pro forfeited though, and Con's case went unanswered. I'd advice both sides to use sources and organize/structure their cases. Also, make objective claims instead of opinions
