Hi Opponent!

Just would like to say that this is one of my first debates. We are studying evolution in school (I am a freshman in high school) and I thought I'd give this a go.

Position: I believe that evolution is a valid theory and the best theory for how the Earth and species on it came to be as they are today. My opponent will be arguing that evolution is not a valid theory. They do not have to state a better theory, unless they feel like it would make their argument stronger. Please cite your sources.

Burden of proof: not exactly sure what this is. Both sides will have to prove their arguments equally.

Thank you for allowing me to accept this debate, sincerely.

I believe the theory of evolution is full of missing spaces. I welcome this debate whole heartedly, please prove your theory.
